NICU Product Education
Neonatal Transport
Efficient neonatal transport is vital for ensuring that infants receive continuous, specialized care during transfers between medical facilities or within hospital settings. Key equipment includes transport incubators like the A750i, which offer customizable configurations to integrate neonatal ventilators and cardiac monitors, ensuring a mobile NICU environment. Additionally, devices such as the AeroNOx 2.0 Nitric Oxide Delivery System and the TXP-2D High-Frequency Ventilator are designed to provide critical respiratory support during transport, maintaining stability and care for the most vulnerable patients.
Labor & Delivery
In the Labor & Delivery phase, specialized tools are essential to ensure the safety and well-being of both mother and newborn. The Infant Resuscitation System is designed to provide immediate respiratory support to newborns requiring resuscitation. To maintain optimal body temperature, the Infatherm Warming Mattress offers a controlled warming surface, while Infant Heel Warmers prepare the infant’s heel for blood sampling by increasing blood flow, facilitating easier and less painful procedures.
NICU & Nursery
The NICU & Nursery environment is equipped with specialized products to support the care of premature and medically complex infants. Jaundice management is facilitated by phototherapy systems like the BiliCocoon, which provides a soft and flexible phototherapy treatment option compatible with warmers, incubators, and kangaroo care. Infant Positioning Aids, such as the Squishon Gel Pillows, help maintain proper positioning and comfort, while the In-House Transport Incubator allows for safe and efficient movement of infants within the hospital. Additionally, the Wee Sight Infant Transilluminator enhances vein visibility, aiding in venous access procedures.
Neuro NICU
For infants with neurological needs, the Neuro NICU is equipped with specialized products to monitor and protect brain health. The Infant Cooling System, such as the Tecotherm Neo, provides therapeutic hypothermia to infants with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy. Infant Brain Monitoring is facilitated by devices like the aEEG Brain Monitor, which tracks cerebral activity. Neuro Protection is further supported by Infant Positioning Aids that help maintain proper head alignment, reducing the risk of neurological complications.
Developmental Care
Developmental Care focuses on promoting healthy growth and development in neonates. Infant Positioning Aids create a womb-like environment, supporting motor and sensory development. The Infatherm Warming Mattress provides a controlled warming surface to maintain optimal body temperature. Jaundice management is addressed with phototherapy systems like the BiliCocoon, which allows for mother-baby bonding during treatment. Therapy Support products, including the Kangaroo Care System, facilitate skin-to-skin contact, while Calming & Soothing solutions, such as the Phototherapy Swaddle, provide comfort during phototherapy sessions.
